BRAIN INJURY CAN BE PREVENTED! Each year 140,000 persons die from brain injuries and 70,000 persons sustain severe head injuries.
Each penny of your donation is used to educate families and friends on the best practices in aiding a TBI or even stroke survivor. After all, each person will need a team to regain strength and momentum. In some cases we work with medical professionals to help educate on the newest treatment plans and protocols. Finally, Alyssa’s Breath™ may extend resources to help individuals impacted with TBI such as equipment used to better the quality of life.

A current project of Alyssa's Breath™ is to obtain a Quadriciser for our various impacted patiences. Brain Injury Recovery can now be accelerated with the Quadriciser Robotic Rehabilitation Therapy System. Robotic technology provides consistency in the movement that encourages Neuroplasticity in the brain; new neurons are the key to successful therapy & rehabilitation. Neurons that fire together (movement), wire together (consistency) by creating new neurons so the patient can regain mobility, stabilize balance, improve range of motion, enhance muscle tone, improve speech, and much more. The Quadriciser is the only medical device that moves all four limbs in a passive motion with multiple ranges of motions. Through the use of this technology, brain injury survivors can regain their quality of life and for TBI patience in west central and southern Ohio, this could be a real saving grace.
